Intertextuality Encoded is an artist’s “book” disrupting and reflecting on the contemporary human condition of using interfaces to access information systems as encoded data.

The first edition of this book is a unique artefact, designed to be experienced as a printed hardcopy that guides the reader from the physical page to the digital screen. It includes QR codes alongside text and images, offering critical insights into intertextual narratives. This version provides instructions on how to access the information embedded within its pages. Each reader will encounter their version of algorithm-driven chance narratives, accessible only through their smartphone.

The printed hardcopy features a mix of opaque and transparent sheets, deliberately complicating the reading experience and making the information more challenging to consume. This contrasts with the more straightforward, accessible PDF version (hyperlink), which is optimized for online readers and digital information consumption.
